The Junior Project Officer(s) will be placed within the Border Management Portfolio of the ICMPD Representation in Türkiye and assigned to the project “Supporting Türkiye’s Efforts to Strengthen Border Management at the Eastern and South-Eastern Land Borders (SAFE)”. The project aims to strengthen Türkiye’s capacity to address irregular migration by enhancing technological, institutional, and operational capacities related to the surveillance of the eastern and south-eastern land borders, while supporting beneficiaries’ adherence to international human rights standards.
The positions are based in the ICMPD Representation in Türkiye in Ankara. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Manager, the Junior Project Officers will provide administrative and operational support to the implementation of project activities. They will assist in the planning and organisation of project events, maintain communication with relevant stakeholders, support the preparation of project documentation and reports, and contribute to the smooth day to day implementation of the project in accordance with ICMPD rules and procedures.
Fluency in English (verbal and written) language is required.
