Job Opening Details

This is a joint recruitment covering two Team Assistant positions across two ICMPD Global Initiatives: European Union Migration and Displacement Capacity Assistance Project (EU-MIDCAP) and the Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF). Each Team Assistant will be assigned to one of the two initiatives.

The Team Assistant is responsible for the smooth, efficient and reliable administrative support to managers and project(s) staff for project(s)-related activities. Reporting to respective Project Managers, they work in close collaboration with project team members and provide guidance to new staff/personnel on the regulatory framework, standard administrative practices and operating procedures of ICMPD.

Proficiency in (verbal/written) English is required, proficiency in French and Spanish is an asset.​

EU-MIDCAP​

The European Union Migration and Displacement Capacity Assistance Project (EU-MIDCAP) is an EU-funded (DG INTPA), Consortium-led peer-to-peer Facility supporting partner country authorities, civil society organisations and regional bodies to strengthen migration and force displacement management systems and their cooperation with the EU and Member States.

The Team Assistant will provide cross-cutting support to the project and to several Technical Assistance Actions, including in French- and Spanish-speaking countries, reporting to one of the Project Managers.

RRF

The Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF) is an EU-funded programme (DG HOME), established since 2022, that supports EU Member States in strengthening the effectiveness, coordination and sustainability of their return and reintegration systems. The Team Assistant will join the RRF Facility Support and Knowledge Team, providing horizontal administrative across RRF's 4 sub-teams (around 25 team members in total), reporting to one of the Project Managers.
