Team Assistant

Functional setting:

The Team Assistant will be the part of Pool of Assistants and works under the supervision of the Administrative Officer, contributing to a smooth and timely delivery of project activities under the work plan and collaboratively with all members of project team(s) and the counterparts in ICMPD for implementation of the tasks.
The Team Assistant implements administrative/operational processes and provides support to implementation of activities.

The Team Assistant prepares administrative/operational documents and correspondence. S/he implements processes in support of budgeting, recruitment, procurement, administrative actions in line with ICMPD rules and procedures. 

S/he organises project events and meetings being responsible for the logistical arrangements. S/he support to project operations on recruitment of experts, DSA calculation, payments (through SAP), travel arrangements (visa, hotel, claims).

  • Administrative/operational support to the activities
  • Work effectively with colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds
  • Client orientation (external and internal)

        Experience in:

  • Event management
  • Good organisational skills
  • Knowledge and use of standard IT systems and ERP
  • Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks​
Poition-Specific Qualifications and Language Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant to the position is a requirement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in an international context is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • In addition to the languages listed in the job profile (fluent English), knowledge of French and Arabic are an asset.
