Project Manager
Through its Migration Capacity Partnerships in the Mediterranean (MCP Med) regional framework ICMPD is prioritising professionalisation as one of its four main drivers through a joint leadership and shared responsibility approach. In this endeavour, the flagship Training Institute (MCP Med TI) represents an ambitious endeavour to address the emerging call for increased efficiency and quality of training in the migration sector of the Mediterranean region.
The Training Institute has been established as a permanent and accredited regional training institute offering quality-assured, bespoke learning and coaching experiences that result in certification for migration actors. Based in Malta the Institute operates across the Mediterranean producing migration capacity development learning products delivered through a regional network of authorised instructors as well as through a virtual learning environment.
The Project Manager is responsible for the management of a project in Francophone North Africa region closely linked to the Training Institute and for ensuring the direction of project activities, delivery of project outputs and the achievement of project targets and results. S/he makes a marked contribution to the region at large.
Fluent English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory. A strong command of written and spoken Arabic is considered an asset​.
