Brussels

The Technical Assistance Facility for Partner Countries on Migration and Forced Displacement, implemented by ICMPD and funded by the European Commission (DG INTPA), supports partner countries, regional organisations, and civil society actors in strengthening their capacities to design and implement migration and forced displacement management systems aligned with international standards. The Facility contributes to the achievement of safe, orderly, and regular migration, as well as to the protection of and provision of durable solutions for forcibly displaced persons and host communities.

The Facility delivers demand-driven, short-term, peer-to-peer technical assistance and capacity-building interventions, working in close partnership with key international actors, including UNHCR and UNICEF, and EUMS including Spain, Poland, Czechia, and Sweden. Its activities are structured around five thematic clusters: Legal Migration; Migration and Development; Irregular Migration; Forced Displacement; and Capacity Building.

The Project Manager reports directly to the Senior Project Manager, who provides strategic oversight and guidance. The Project Manager oversees the work of selected Facility Project Officers, in line with the team structure and management arrangements defined by the Senior Project Manager and the Head of the Global Initiatives Unit.
